Open🚲 Bike Lane Issue

Trucks driving on bikeway

This summer, there have been a number of trucks on the barrington bikeway. Some are maintenance trucks, but others are unmarked trucks, presumable serving the unhoused population living there. I see these trucks in the morning two or three times a week. They park in the middle of the bikeway, so I have to go around them on the grass. This morning, a truck was DRIVING down the bikeway just as I was coming around a blind corner. I had to jam on my brakes and go into the grass to avoid them. This multi use path CLEARLY says no motorized vehicles. Why are so many trucks CONSISTENTLY driving and parking on the BIKEway? If HRM is going to continue to allow vehicles to drive on the bikeway, they AT THE VERY LEAST need to ensure that they have a flashing light on top of the vehicle and one of those annoying beeping devices so cyclists can see and hear a truck coming down the path.
